Bumpwatch: Week 15

How Far Along: 15 Weeks! The size of the most boring fruits- apples and oranges.

Best Moment of the Week: Yesterday we took a break from house/ car/ yard drama and found our new farmer's market. I know this is a pretty small and waspy thing, but it felt good to have a win and to tap in to some healthy food since all we have been eating since the fridge broke is frozen and dry food (not so healthy).  Nice to be setting a new healthier eating routine!

Most Interesting Prego Quirk: I have been reunited with my middle school skin, and as much as I have missed my awkwardness on the inside manifesting physically on my face, it is a bit of a bummer. On the bright side, it continues my cause of getting dirty looks because people think I am a teen mother (I kid). I may start writing some poems and get really sassy toward my mom, so that I am really connected to my middle school self. This could also be a Benjamin Button style pregnancy, in which case by the end things will get way weirder, and I should enjoy my zitty angst while it lasts.

I Would Really Like Some: Cherries! And I got some! Eating them now, and they are delicious. This is all I will eat all summer.

Bizarro Thing No One Warned me About: The amount to which you look curvy changes a lot from day to day. Mostly I just look like myself from  years ago before I started to watch what I eat.

And The Boy?: He has named the belly (not the baby) Ray the Mountain, because apparently he can hear it (again, the belly, not the spawn within it) singing winsome manly songs. Maybe he imagines my belly growing a beard and singing duets with Damien Lewis? We can only hope all of these are true, because becoming a pregnant toddler with a bearded singing belly would probably get me a nice gig at a circus or something.

Looking Forward to:Going to visit my brother and future sister-in-law in a few weeks. As soon sa we feel like we are on top of the move and the pregnancy, something else piles up, and it is hard not to feel discouraged and a little alone.  I could just really use some family support right now, so it will be nice to be with Thomas.
