The Five Best Etsy Stores for Reusable Cloth Napkins
We can minimize our fossil fuel use and support makers near us by buying more from local makers (and a lot less from big stores). I want to keep highlighting amazing makers in the US, and I feel like my Etsy links can get caught in the more mainstream shuffle. So let's look at some of the best stuff together. |

Cloth napkins are one of the best, most common sense changes we have made to go green. I don't mean fancy linen napkins that you have in restaurants or weddings. We just have simple, cotton napkins that we use everyday.
We don't miss paper napkins, we just throw the cloth in with the laundry once a week or so, and the same 15 or so have made it through 4 years of toddler nonsense. It will save us so much money in the end. I would never go back.
My only advice if you are buying these napkins is to buy something in a dark color or a print. They will get messy, but if you have something that isn't white, it takes a while before you even notice.
So, if you want some cloth napkins, you have a bunch of options. First, you can just cut up other things (kitchen towels, sheets, etc) to use as napkins. If that isn't your deal, you can sometimes find fancy ones secondhand, or you can find tons of gems on Etsy. These are some of my favorites.
Clear Sky Home
These colorful, patterned napkin store has so many styles you can probably find one that fits in your space. I highly recommend them, because
ohlittlerabbit breaks my one rule- stay away from white napkins- but we still love our set years later. These designs might make great gifts or special holiday napkins as well.

This Washington store sells the understated, cool cloth napkins that won't ever go out of style. When you wonder where other people are getting their cool, rustic minimalist stuff, it is here.moocowmomma
This shop offers bright, solid-colored cloth napkins for both kids and adults. They look hearty too, like they could last you a good long time, and then live a second life as a cleaning rag. And they have perfect reviews from 3000 people, so you know that's a pretty great store.
We have bought other reusable good from this shop, and we have only had good experiences. Their napkins also look pretty and simple, and I can vouch that they are sewn to last.
