3 Things for Yesterday

1.Finishing up our first Peps Group- We started leading a group very soon after we finished our own, and I am proud that we made it through. We enjoyed meeting another group of new parents (all of whom were very awesome in a whole new bevy of ways) and I think we genuinely helped them bond so they can take some meaningful parent relationships with them as they head forward with their babies. Because, this business is tough, and it is good to know people who understand what you are going through. Anyway, I think we helped a little? We have space for improvement too, but I feel proud that we took one night a week to help other people when we could really use some help ourselves still!

2. Someone discovered the recycling can- Just when you think you have safely recycled your paper goods, someone gets on the loose.
3. The Boy- He stayed up until 1 in the morning the night before making carnitas pork for the Peps final party, only to have them eat so much that there was none left for either of us, and we just eat leftover tacos meat from the freezer. It felt like a tragic moment, but we had fun anyway, because that man is the best decision I made at 16 years old (the ripped jeans and novelty t-shirts may come second).

Bonus: We are having a pajama day here, and then my Mom will be here. I am genuinely counting down the minutes until she flies in. So excited.
