3 Things for Yesterday and Today- Pear, SAM, and Sunset Overdrive

1. Getting practically normal person sleep- Thank God for visits from my mom, even 12 hour ones, because that lady can cuddle and nap with the best of them, so we can sleep for more than an hour or two at a time. Plus, even that little taste of family and some good late night talks made it feel more like Christmas.
2. Hallmark Peanuts Nativity Set- Just saw this while we were out shopping. Genius.
3. Harry and David Pears- I think I have two left to get me to Christmas day. They are the juiciest, most delicious pears, and I have gotten them all over myself and the baby. Like many good things, they make a big mess.
4.Genoming works at SAM- my bosses at Artsy ave me a handful of institutional works to do to get back into the swing of things, and I am excited that includes a bunch from my current local museum. I will be a true Seatlelite (???) in no time. Or at least I will know a whole lot about their art scene!
5. The Sounds of Sunset Overdrive- It's  actually a very pretty game to look at, but if I have to hear about Overdrive or the Awesompocalypse one more time...
6.Spicy Hamachi rolls- We met a friend for sushi in Wallingford, and I am happy I can count on my favorite roll to be delicious, because we take questionable sushi chances.
