1. Ten Great Waterfall Hikes- http://www.wta.org/go-hiking/seasonal-hikes/spring-destinations/waterfall-hikes These all look amazing and pretty do-able. Palouse Falls looks incredible- right? I didn't realize waterfalls were such a presence on the Washington landscape.
2. Cherry season! In a matter of two weeks they went from 7 dollars a bag to basically being given away (the same bags are 2 bucks now). They are so good. For the record, everyone should come visit us in June and July, if only for the cherries.
3. 30 Examples of Cisgender privilege-http://everydayfeminism.com/2012/09/30-examples-of-cisgender-privilege/- Can I point out that cisgender is still not recognized as a word on spell check here? It just means that you identify with the gender you were assigned at birth. This week, a friend went through some major surgeries and is currently suffering as she begins to heal. Reading about how she is doing makes me especially aware of my own privileges and blessings from being born the female I identify as. This may seem like a far off problem to many if you, but if nothing else, read the link to realize how many very simple things you enjoy because you are cis. And maybe pray or send some positivity towards my friend who hopefully will be able to enjoy her new normal because of her courage very soon.
