10.Julie Bowen- This list is all reds, purples, and golds, but they were so good this year! I love these colors, and obviously I think they look so great together. Also, is the top of this velvet? Because it looks fuzzy and cute.

9. Allison Williams- This dress looks like what happens when I try to make collages, and I mean that in a good way. I think this is the one I would wear of all of the dresses on the list. I don't know about the slick hair though. I don''t understand why slick hair is a thing.

8. Gabourey Sibide- I love this light gold color on her skin. A bunch of blonds also wore the shiney, slinky, light gold number on this red carpet, but it works on another level with her beautiful dark skin. Also, I just think she looks great and so confident here. I think this is my favorite thing she has ever worn.

7. Rashida Jones- She always looks so laid back. Nothing sums that "oh, yeah, just threw this together" gorgeousness better than bangs and a top knot. Ask every person on pinterest ever. I know a lot more work went into this, because it just works from top to bottom. I also like the high neckline and refusal to just show a bunch of skin just because.

 6. Joanna Newsom- It is so much, but it is so good! She looks like a combination of a Disney Princess and your Great Grandma in the best way ever. I LOVE that color, and you may judge me for this, but I also love those cap sleeves. Sure, the puffy sleeve coming back could escalate into a total nightmare, but here, it is working. Also, only Joanna Newsom can get away with wearing long necklaces with a super complex dress and have it work. She is a Disney hippie Grandma Princess.

 5. Everything Amy Poehler wears- At this award show and otherwise. I feel like every outfit is streamlined so you get the clear message- "Bitch, look how great my shoulders are." She does the hourglass thing really well in a way that never feels overwrought.  Also, her makeup really seemed especially gorgeous that night. She was all glowy, as she should have been since she FINALLY won a freaking award for the amazingness of Leslie Knope.

4. Elizabeth Moss- First, yay her for winning for Top of the Lake, because she worked the subtle fire in that miniseries. I also love the dark maroon/ black overlay combination here. I love it (and her dark painted toe nails) enough to forgive the asymetrical, see-through hem.

3. Amy Adams-I hear that this dress is a pretty direct homage to some of her costumes in American Hustle (why don't I care about that movie at all?), but I mostly love a ginger wearing red. The color blocking trend mostly wears me out, but it is just so good here. Also, who doesn't love a braided updo (because I will give them a stern talking to for their insolence).

2. Olivia Wilde- you have to have a whole lot of confidence to wear an entirely sparkly dress on a pregnant belly. I don't know that I would have the hutzpah to do it without a spawnbelly! But I love the color, and overall it is just working. Best of the pregos, though I thought Drew Barrymore also looked very pretty.

1. Lupita Nyong'o- Gahhh!!! First of all, I know the hair has been debated, but I just think it is gorgeous. I want to hate the cape, but I hate it just enough to love the whole thing again.
