6 Things for the Last Two- Google Image Search, Van Gogh, and Leftover Lasagna

1. Google image search- So, I have been working on this blog constantly, but you probably haven't noticed the difference. For years now, I have posted pictures that don't belong to me without citing them (I have been much better in 2013, but there are 4 years before that). For the past few weeks, I have been trying to cite every picture on this blog, which has turned out to be a gargantuan task. I am hoping I only have a day or two left of this, but I couldn't have gotten through it without Google Image Search. Thanks to the Boy and the boys of Catish for introducing this epically helpful tool.

2. This is an oldie but a goodie- This may be the motto for my life. I actually have never seen where he said this, but I hope he really did, because I love this so much.
3. Jonathon Gornall's essay on the retrospective- http://www.thenational.ae/arts-culture/music/retrospectives-can-also-serve-to-revise-an-artists-body-of-work- Yes, I am still obsessed with this topic, and this review in the National really questions how a retrospective can revise what a body of work is all about (he is specifically discussing a Roy Lichtenstein). I don't entirely agree, but I think I am going to start collecting these kinds of reviews.
4. Dr. Sarah Azad- My lady doctor is right up there with my dentist as my favorite person in the universe. She is so cool and laid back, and she never makes me feel silly or talked down to. One of the best lessons I have had while living here is that you can have doctors you really like as people, and that there is no reason to stick with someone who makes you feel little. This may be another motto for my life now. So many mottos!

5. Gloria- Has anyone else noticed that right now Modern Family is on at all times on at least two channels? That it is unescapable. I gave up on them at the beginning of season 3, but now that I am checking out newer episodes on reruns. It is kind of shocking that Sophia Vergara is one of the only ones who hasn't got an Emmy, because she is so hilarious on the show.
6. Leftover lasagna- why is this the best tasting thing in the world? It really is delicious.
