Music for Safari Week

by - Wednesday, June 19, 2013

Of all the weeks at Camp Galileo, I think this one has been the most challenging. It also just reminds me of the Kenyan music we heard while in Kenyan, but of course don't know any of the names to. So I tried to pick some African music that sounded cool, then I just picked songs with Animals in the title or with a strong, badass drum beat. About the only thing I had last week that they got excited about was the soundtrack of Star Wars, so I am still not sure how to curate music for children. I am way open to suggestions if anyone has any (also, thank you to Pag who gave me some good ideas the last time).
