3 Things- Fatigue and Avoidance, Mbube, and a Small Step for Transpeople

1. Being way too tired to do school work, even when I really need to- F grad school. I have never been less motivated to try to impress people/ get my work done in my life. If you know me at all, you know this on its own is a big change of pace, but I have so much energy and joy put into this other path right now (and for the first time in 5 years, that energy is feeding back), that I just don't feel like going back. Also, I have fallen asleep at least three times tonight, so this is not just a symbolic issue of energy.
2. Mbube- The camp game we played today. Fun and humiliating all in one.
3. That the social security administration is now honoring gender identity change- Allowing American Trans-people to change their gender marker on their social security card is a huge move for the office. It validates a decisions with a relatively minimal amount of information from the person. Though the gender marker doesn't show on the card, it is in the database, and the gender inconsistency can cause all sorts of problems when they go to fill out other forms. I am really excited about this.
