Sandra Bullock was wearing Elie Saab, which is basically always pretty in a deco fairy princess kind of way. I am not usually won over by sparkles, but yet these sparkles are so pretty! It also has the see through bottom, which I still hate, but because it is so dark and the top is so ornate, you barely notice.

Jennifer Aniston's dress was so red, and I just love red. I liked that she stayed with her clean aesthetic, but the color is fresh and different for her. Plus, it is just so red!

Domenico Vacca- I am not sure I have ever seen a film with Daniel Day Lewis the whole way through, and the Lincoln ads inexplicably make me giggle, but his partner has looked amazing at every single awards show. She just looks like she stepped out of another time, like she is too glamorous to be a movie star. She is wearing the crap out of that Rebecca Miller dress.

Charlize Theron is basically perfect, though the top randomly reminds me of a fortune cookie. The squares of the top seem like they need a fortune coming out of it. Also, I really like the super short hair.

Octavia Spencer always looks so good! I saw her tell someone that she chooses the same designer Tadashi Shoji because he understands that she wants to look just as beautiful as everyone else, and that other designers only want to give their dresses to size 0's. I love that she was so honest, but I actually love more that she does look gorgeous. She looks way better than a lot of the people on that red carpet. Also, I love the new bangs!

Samantha Barks dress was refreshing in sea of spangly ruffly craziness. It was just simple and pretty and ridiculously low cut (eh, but if you are into that, go for it!). I just thought if you are young and trying to be fresh, this is the way to do it.

I love Jennifer Garner (I just watched Juno again recently, and she really is fantastic in it), and I should love this dress. Great wine color, playful but not overly showy, and who doesn't love a crazy train (we're going off the rails...)? Yet, when I saw her walking with this dress on, it looked like she was sticking her pelvis way out. Also, I am not the fabric explosion is as fun as it should be. It weirdly makes me feel a little sad.

Everyone loved Jennifer Lawrence (because she is pretty awesome from all I can tell- did you see her with Jack Nicholson? It's like how an actual human being would react!), but the fit and flare dress seemed to fit a little weird (and it tripped her! That dress is an asshole). I also thought the print was a little bit old lady. Usually I would love that, but I didn't really love it here.

Ok, I actually don't totally hate this, but I want to know what evil photographer got her to pose like that, as if to accentuate her crazypants nipple darts that much more.

Salma Hayek's whole thing feels very early 90's pageant to me, but its real crime is that it seems to distract from her. It is just maybe that thing where there is so much going on with the clothes that they take over, which is always a problem.
