Day 2- Something that you genuinely think is beautiful that isn't always treated that way- Pear Shapes

I think curviness is so pretty, and I always think pear-shaped girls look amazing.  One of my college room mates was a serious pear shape, and I always thought she looked great in everything she wore, but I know shopping could be a pain for her. I think pear shaped girls can really pull off their clothes, but I notice in those "dress your body" type articles there is always a lot of talk of optical illusions and trying to make the curves seem smaller. They talk about pear shapes like it is something you need to minimize, but I don't understand why! This seems like a big old downer to me, because I would love a real butt and some thighs! Why make people feel bad about them? There always seems to a big knocking of the thighs, and can I say, for the record, I have never noticed someone's thighs in my life. And clearly, I think about these things. All you notice is the gorgeous curve of the body, which is so pretty and feminine! So here's to you, pears. And here is some of your pear-shaped company:

"As a child I never heard one woman say to me 'i love my body.' Not my mother, sister, best friend. No one woman has ever said, I am so proud of my body so I make sure to say it to Mia, because a positive physical outlook has to start at an early age." Kate Winslet

I put this one last, because this girl looks so amazing! Congratulations pear-shapes, horizontal stripes were apparently made for you. She should wear this dress every day.
