3 Things- Intros, Real Estate, Episcopals on Easter

1. Having 9 pages of introduction when I need 5- blerg! This thing is going to haunt my dreams for the rest of my life.
2. Real estate websites- When I feel really crabby about my life here, I start showing the Boy pictures of houses in Pennsylvania where our mortgage would be significantly less than our rent here. I pick our house, usually in Squirrel Hill, probably once every couple months or so. Though, I usually pick really little ones. I don't feel like enough of a grown up to live in a freestanding building that is all ours. I am sure that is one of those things that just sneaks up on you.
3. Episcopal Easter music- All in all, the crappiest thing about being Episcopalean is the music. Apparently, we don't believe so much in the peppy music bit. I think we are going for traditional and solemn (though I'll never turn down a brass section). Even here, at our hippy dippy California church, the music is still a bit of a downer. But Easter music is pretty damn cheery (which seems appropriate). They were having practice for Easter this morning when we were doing flowers, and it was so nice to hear them play! Plus, we made flower arrangements that look like an old lady's couch, because when you sleep in late the saturday before Valentine's day, all that's left is pretty dire. In fact, it's like the visual equivalent of Episcopal music.
