1. Martin Luther King Jr, Day posts- Two of my favorite MLK Jr. quotes:

"Rarely do we find men who willingly engage in hard, solid thinking. There is an almost universal quest for easy answers and half-baked solutions. Nothing pains some people more than having to think" -MLK Jr.

"Life's most persistent and urgent question is, 'What are you doing for others?'" - MLK Jr.

My classmate Alex wrote this today, which I thought was great:

"Today, in the United States, it's Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. One aspect of his legacy that I think is worth noting is that he never held elected office, but affected great, positive change in the country by organizing and leading collective action. That's democracy at work, not deferring to a document, ie. the Constitution, that was written hundreds of years ago."

 2. BLTA's with spinach- you know you can switch in spinach for lettuce in most things and it barely changes the taste? Amazing!

From New York Daily News
3. FLOTUS tweet- "Just danced to "Let's Stay Together" with the love of my life and the President of the United States. I’m so proud of Barack. –mo" She is the bomb, and I personally liked this red number way more than the white from four years ago. Overall, the inauguration was very sweet this year, I thought.
