3 Things- 12 Angry Men, Kaprow, Pollock, and Courage

1. 12 Angry Men- so freaking good. I find the number of all-dude ensembles on the Top 100 depressing (I am 40 in, and I think there are only a couple left with any real female parts at all), but I would watch this 100 times before Glengarry Glenross. Amazing ensemble, great writing, and really dynamic film making for a movie that almost solely takes place in one room. Another definite gem in this project. If you are going to do a movie about what it means to be a man, or what responsibility is, please do it this way ("We have nothing to gain or lose.")

2. Allan Kaprow on Jackson Pollock- in my top ten favorite pieces of art writing ever. Kudos to Pollock for somehow being everything to everyone. This is my favorite vision of who the artist was and what he meant. Adore it.

3.  This! And also, less puking, though I have to say I love the Boy a whole lot on days like these.
