Wedding Wednesday- Rehearsal Dinner

by - Wednesday, June 27, 2012

Alright! So the other thing that is starting to really come together (other than my neurosis, which clearly are rearing their head this week) is the parties surrounding the actual party.

We decided to keep the rehearsal dinner really small, because everything else is getting so big. We are having it at the ballroom in DeBence, which I am super excited about.

We originally were going to do Leonardo's food, because it kind of combines our families' stuff, but because they are closing the restaurant that week, it would be a huge pain to do that, and it is more important Carlo and Pam can just enjoy themselves, since it is the only week off they get all year. So, this problem was confusing at first, but my Mom thought of the best solution ever- we are having Pizza from Two Cousins instead! We still get Alfeo food! So, with the help of those adorable girly girls on Pinterest, I found some really obnoxious Pizza Party Stuff. We will be doing none of these things:

This is a cute idea, but how unsanitary right? I mean, you can't use that thing.

This is mind blowing. I might do this at home actually ,because bread on a stick can't be wrong.

Ok, the most disturbing part of this is actually how white the rest of the kitchen is. And the window is just shining white light. Are they in kitschy party heaven?

What is the blue? I do not want any of these pizzas.

After the pizza, we are hoping to meet up with our family at the bowling alley directly behind DeBence. The idea is to let The Boy show off his bowling chops (I actually heard his dad is pretty amazing at it now) and to get to spend time with everyone at once. I am trying to prescribe to the idea that I can just tell people where I will be and they can come to me, because the bouncing around will probably drive me crazy. Plus, I like bowling and I want to see people, because I love them. "Bowling Party" didn't bring up anything on Pinterest, but there are some badass wedding bowling pictures.

Any wedding with a mini top hat is alright in my book.
